  <description>Сегодня, возвращаясь с работы по пустой трассе, я проехал почти 10 миль без рук, изредка поправляя руль коленями. Кажется, индус из книги рекордов Гиннеса проехал так 700 миль и совсем не по пустой трассе.&lt;br /&gt;А еще, в связи с острой нехваткой времени и неспособностью все разумно приоритезировать, с 1го апреля я отключился от интернета. Теперь проверяю почту и пишу вот такие freak-заметки через соседский вайрлес с гордым именем belkin54g, который имеет свойство пропадать в самое неподходящее время. Или телефон, через который, кстати, оказывается не намного медленне соседского вайрелса.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Вчера отказался от продления лиза, теперь ищу новый апартмент (с конца мая). Для начала нужно концептуально определиться с районом (Manhattan или CT) и с логистикой вроде острой необходимости сохранения legal residence в CT, чтоб избежать робингудовых налогов замечательного штата и города Нью Йорк.</description>

  <title>Технологический прогресс наступает</title>

  <description>По поводу того, что их продавали на woot, я все-таки купил чудо техники - робот-пылесос Roomba IRobot.&lt;br /&gt;Штука оказалась потрясающая - он ухитряется заползать в места труднодоступные обычным пылесосам - под кровать, под диван, углы, щели. Может работать по расписанию, сам парковаться и заряжаться. Застряет он только в однм месте - около выхода на балкон и после минуты безуспешных попыток выбраться начинает жалобно пищать. Там заканчивается ковер и начинается балконная дверь, но между ними довольно приличная щель, куда колесо легко проваливается. Впрочем, эту проблему я быстро решил поставив туда virtual wall - небольшая коробочка с инфракрасным излучателем, которая говорит румбе куда не нужно лезть.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Минусы - мусор нужно выбрасывать вручную:( и он не такой уж мощный. Да... было бы классно если бы он мог еще и убирать:) (ну хотя бы абстрактный хлам с пола).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Вот технологическую сингулярность давно &lt;a href=&quot;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technological_singularity&quot;&gt;предсказали&lt;/a&gt;, но когда же она наступит, хотя бы до уровня универсальных домохозяек:)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Upd: на сайте IRobot &lt;a href=&quot;http://store.irobot.com/home/index.jsp&quot;&gt;предлагают &lt;/a&gt;этот пылесос как подарок на День Святого Валентина:) Несмотря на то, что штука классная, можно только посочувствовать тем, кому он все таки будет подарен...&lt;br /&gt;</description>
